6 month checkup

Isabella went for her 6 month check up last week and received a good report. She is 16.8 lbs and 26.4 inches tall, both 75th percentile, and her little peanut head is only 16.4, 25th percentile. I was surprised that her head wasn't bigger to support her big beautiful eyes!

6 Months Old

Isabella is growing so fast and is playing alot more now, especially since she can sit up! We had to buy her some new toys, so for her half birthday she receieved a musical toy that came with a piano, guitar, trumpet and microphone, it also sings lots of songs and has a huge mirror! Isabella loves it and will sit in fornt of it for about 30 minutes just playing and making faces at herself in the mirror! We also got her a big girl bath tub that is more fun for her to play in, I have a cute video of her in it that I will post later.

The Look...

It was so nice outside the other day that I decided to have a little photo shoot with Princess Isabella. She had just started sitting by herself and had never sat in the grass before so I thought it might be fun... boy was I wrong. She kept snarling at me at would not turn her face toward the camera, finally she looked at me and this was the "look" I got. Just so you all know she has done this face a few times before but I thought it was funny, now I think she knows what she is doing and a do not like when she looks at me like this... way to much ATTITUTE! Already, she is only 6 months. So after posting this picture on my facebook my best friend Ginger informed me "sorry Haley, but I've seen this face on you so many times"! Oops!

Sippy Cup!

Isabella can now drink juice from a sippy cup. I know she just turned 6 months old but I wanted her to learn early so we don't have any problems when it's time to stop her bottle. She loves it, it only took her a day to learn, although she doesn't drink much she loves holding it and taking a few sips!

First boat ride!

Jay and I took Isabella on her first boat ride. We weren't sure how she would like it so we just took a quick trip to Lake Martin one afternoon. She did not like wearing a life jacket, but she loved it when we stopped and she got to look all around and pretend to drive the boat, although she was more interested in trying to chew the wheel (poor teething baby).

Please pray for this family...

I added a new link on my blog in hopes that you will say a prayer (or several) for Kayleigh and her family. This sweet little baby passed away on Monday and I cannot imagine what her family is going through. I know that sweet Kayleigh is with Jesus now and it is just such a reminder of how great God is. He blesses us with the most precious gift of children and I am so thankful everyday for my precious angel.

Going Home

It was definitely time to get back home!
Our car was even more full on the way home! We had a great trip but it is good to be home!

We Love Baytowne!

Isabella had sweet potatoes

Finally a family picture!

Whenever we go to the beach we always stay in Sandestin and take the golf cart so we never even have to leave the resort. Since it was Isabella's first trip and she is still so little we left the golf cart behind and just drove over to the wharf everynight from the beachside. Baytowne Wharf is mine and Jay's favorite place ever, hopefully Isabella will like it as much as we do one day!

Beach #5

Beach = NO NAPS!!!

She stuck her tounge out in every picture we took together that day!

Isabella is getting so long!
